Dillard's will open a store at the Promenade at Casa Grande, a regional shopping center under construction at Interstate 10 and Florence Boulevard in Casa Grande.
The 98,000-square-foot Dillard's will join the other department stores planned for the site: Target, Kohl's and JCPenney.
The regional shopping center, which will cover 1 million square feet, will include a 14-screen Harkins theater, restaurants, Best Buy, Staples, PetSmart, Famous Footwear, Lane Bryant, Michaels, Shoe Pavilion and more.
Some stores are expected to open this fall and others, next spring.
The $200 million, 130-acre center is a joint project by developer Pederson Group, Westcor and WDP Partners.
The center is expected to draw from a large area, including Florence, Coolidge, Eloy, Arizona City and Sacaton, as well as I-10 traffic.

Developer plans shopping, dining for Casa Grande

A Casa Grande developer hopes to bring 95,000-square-feet of shopping and dining to one of the busiest intersections in the burgeoning Pinal County town.
Cornerstone Commercial Development wants to break ground on The Shops at TC Village this fall, according to Vice President of Sales and Marketing Dominic Palmieri.
Plans for the shopping center call for five anchor pads that would be occupied by national restaurants chains, a bank and a car wash, Palmieri said.
Cornerstone Commercial Development's has received major site plan approval from the city's Planning & Zoning Commission. The five pads of land that will send to owner tenants will go through a separate review process when the developers of those sites devise plans.
The developers leasing broker, Scottsdale-based Retail Brokers Inc., has yet to sign tenants for the project. They said they are in discussion with several national restaurant and retail chains, said David Bradford, director of land acquisition for Retail Brokers Inc.
TC in the name The Shops at TC Village stand for Treckell and Cottonwood. The development is on the corner of Treckell Road and Cottonwood Lane.
